This condominium is in great proximity to the Downtown Disney security entrance. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from the condo to security and 15 minutes to get to the gates of DL or DCA. The complex is quiet enough as the condo is tucked back away from the street. We rarely saw anyone out and about while we were there. While it's a bit tricky to locate the condo itself, all of the units are marked well and once you figure out which building you are in, it's easy to get in and get settled.
The home is just fine. Think of it like visiting a relative -- it's updated and clean but the carpeting, baseboards, and furniture are a little worn. It's not flashy, but there is plenty of room for 6 adult people to sleep and use bathrooms. The kitchen has what you need to make a quick meal and a cup of coffee before heading out to the Parks for the day. We were very comfortable during our week-long stay.
While you do have to cross 4 lanes of traffic to quickly access Magic Way, there is a grassy median for place to pause and wait for traffic to pass. If you're willing to not cross at a crosswalk, you get to Downtown Disney in no time. While we were there at the end of May, there was not a lot of vehicle or foot traffic in the morning (around 7:30AM) or at night when we returned (10-11PM). The front of the complex faces the back of the Pixar Pals parking structure. There is no easy way to walk through the structure that we could find, so we chose to walk down S Walnut to Magic -- making our arrival at the parks easy!
We felt safe on the road and in the complex the entire time we were there.
Overall, while not flashy, we enjoyed our stay and would return for our next visit.
